Teresa Clemmer

Vermont Law School

Teresa Clemmer is the most recent addition to the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic, bringing a strong background in environmental litigation.  She is currently the Associate Director of the Clinic.  Prior to joining the clinic, Ms. Clemmer practiced with Trustees for Alaska, a non-profit environmental law firm, as well as with the Environmental Practice Groups of Perkins Coie LLP in Anchorage, and Cooper, White & Cooper LLP in San Francisco.  She brings a wealth of knowledge to the clinic about state and federal environmental laws, including the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Air Act, Oil Pollution Act, and their state law counterparts.  She also has experience with public lands and natural resource management laws, such as the National Forest Management Act.  Ms. Clemmer received her AB in Politics from Princeton University and her JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
