Trish Holder is a writer and marketing consultant for the HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning industry.   She is passionate about “green building” in a very realistic way, meaning she believes green building will never succeed if it means sacrificing the needs and desires of our families.  Through the building of her own home—Greenspiration-- she’s out to prove that there are affordable green alternatives for middleclass homeowners who want to build a traditional looking home in an existing neighborhood.  

“Women make 80% of the decisions when it comes to building or renovating a home,” says Trish.  “One of my goals in this project is to encourage women to become more informed about green building and utilize the resources that are now available.”

From geothermal heat pumps to dual flush toilets, Trish will share the choices she’s made so far—and some of the decisions that lie ahead.
