NAELS 2008 Registration

On-site registration is not available due to constraints with the catering service.

NAELS is committed to providing financial assistance when possible to students wishing to attend the NAELS 2008 Conference. Please check back for more information on how to qualify and apply for Financial Assistance with Registration Fees.

With this goal in mind, we will not be providing bottled water, paper cups or coffee cups.

We strongly encourage participants to bring travel coffee mugs and water bottles.

The UVM Davis Center Coffee Shop (located in the Bookstore) offers coffee refills at $0.99 if you bring your own mug.

Wireless internet access will be available to conference participants at the UVM Davis Center.

Early Registration Rate
Those who register in advance qualify for lower fees. Early registration fees apply 11/15/2007 - 02/22/2008. To qualify for advance registration discounts your registration and payment must be received by midnight EDT, Friday, February 22, 2008. Registrations received after February 15 will be charged at the late registration rate.

Registration Confirmation
For online registrations, immediate e-mail confirmation will be sent. Registrations processed in the office will receive e-mailed confirmation of conference registration within three days of receiving your registration. If you do not receive confirmation, please call the UVM Conference and Event Services at 1-802-656-5665, conferences@uvm.edu.

Payment
Payment can be made by credit card (MasterCard and VISA) or company or personal check. Checks should be made payable to The University of Vermont. You can register online or, mail or fax your registration form. No registrations will be accepted over the phone.

Forms received without payment will not be processed until payment has been received.

Guest Registration
Guest registration is intended to accommodate spouses or other travel companions accompanying conference participants. The registration fee covers the cost of meals for the guest only.

Workshops
Important Notice!
Workshops held at Vermont Law School on Saturday, March 22, 2008 have limited enrollment due to room capacities. When you register, please select the Workshops that you wish to attend. If you should change your mind after registration, please remove yourself from the enrollment to make room for another participant. If you have trouble with removal, please contact the UVM Conference and Event Services: 1-802-656-5665, conferences@uvm.edu.

Members of the VLS Community who wish to attend the VLS Solutions Conference events only need not register for the NAELS Conference. Registration is only required if members of the VLS Community plan to attend any of the NAELS Conference events in addition to the workshops and panels organized by the VLS Solutions Conference Committee.

Proceedings
Conference participants will receive copies of conference proceedings when they pick up their registration packet. Packets will be available at the Registration Table in the UVM Davis Center Livak Fireplace Lounge Thursday evening, March 20, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Friday, March 21, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Exhibits Only Badges
The Green Expo will be open to all conference participants on Friday, March 21, 10:00 am - 4:30 pm. Exhibitors should register and coordinate their exhibits with the NAELS 2008 Conference Committee. The Green Expo is limited to 30 exhibitors. If you have trouble registering, please contact the NAELS 2008 Conference Committee: naels2008@vermontlaw.edu.

Cancellations and Substitutions
(UVM Policy)

All changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation requests must be received by Friday, February 22, 2008, to qualify for a refund, less a $50.00 processing fee. If your registration fee is less then $50.00 then you will not receive a refund. No refunds will be issued after February 22, 2008. Refunds will be processed based on the original form of payment within 60 days after the close of the meeting. No-shows will be charged the full registration fee. Substitutions are allowed. A letter on your company's letterhead is required from the original registrant stating the conditions of the substitution and full contact information of the replacement (first name, last name, email address, company, address, phone number, fax number and emergency contact information).
